Check compatibility before installing
Understand the Resolve versions, operating systems, and Studio requirements shown on a listing.
The product page’s Specs section shows the Resolve versions and platforms the creator selected, whether Resolve Studio is required, the product version, and the asset type. Treat these as the creator’s compatibility notes; they are not an automatic compatibility test of your computer.
Check the exact file type and installation steps in the product description or release package. A product may require a specific Resolve edition, operating system, plugin host, or third-party dependency. If your combination is not listed, contact the creator from their storefront before you buy.
For a plugin or script, close Resolve before installing it unless the creator’s instructions say otherwise. Restart Resolve after installation and follow the included setup notes.
